Engineering Consulting Technical Director

Lead engineering initiatives as a Technical Director for a prominent consulting firm in Toronto, ON. Drive project delivery and business development to achieve strategic operational goals.

As the Technical Director, you will work closely with the Chief Regional Officer (CRO) North America, leveraging your technical expertise and entrepreneurial mindset. This permanent full-time role requires strong leadership to inspire a diverse team and ensure successful delivery of design and consulting services across projects. You will support business development efforts in Canada while managing project finance, HR, and quality activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure collaboration with the USA team on projects

• Assist in project cash flow monitoring and controlling

• Strengthen partnerships with other design companies

• Identify local resources and support talent acquisition

• Implement quality processes for certification compliance

Requirements:

• P.Eng license in Ontario, Quebec registration an asset

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical/Structural focus

• Minimum 10 years in heavy civil engineering roles

• Understand FEM modeling and structural verification

• Strong communication and leadership skills
