Who we are?
The Primary Construction Team consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP).
What is the project?The Ontario Line ("OL") is a fully integrated, stand‑alone, rapid transit system that connects Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition and Ontario Place grounds.
The Northern Civil, Stations and Tunnel ("NC") project consists of approximately 7 km of underground subway and elevated guideway, with stations along the segment providing connections to surface bus and streetcar routes. The NC project has been divided into two main progressive design‑build contracts: (1) the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract ("EGS") and the Pape Tunnel and Underground Station Contract ("PTUS"), with supporting Early Works.
Whatis the Chance?
The Station Commissioning Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the wide range of commissioning integration including all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works. This role involves addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and seeking consensus to maintain project progress and ensure successful completion.
Responsibilities- Acquire deep understanding of commissioning process for MEP systems.
- Tracking, Control and Coordinate the Stand‑Alone Equipment’s Commissioning.
- Tracking and control the technical comments on commissioning report (Deficiency List).
- Coordinate the construction team workshops and ensure the completion actions.
- Generate the reports for Deficiency List on site and maintain the commissioning readiness / progress report of the station.
- Coordinate with the construction team for the testing activities assuring safety during the test.
- Attend the post installation check out with the construction team for the handing over.
- Ensure the commissioning process as per the approved procedure.
- Coordinate with the subcontractors / Vendors for the site commission activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical or System Engineering or Equivalent work experience.
- Experience as Systems or Interface coordinator.
- Experience on Integration, Interfaces and Commissioning Process.
- Strong understanding for FAT, PICO, SAT and SIT.
- Experience data mining, data analysis and generate reports on Excel, Power BI, and Visio.
- Ability to coordinate activities with internal and external Stakeholders.
- Experience on Smartsheet, AutoCAD (Redlines and As‑Builts), P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience on Commissioning Process, Integration, and Interfaces Systems.
- Previous experience on commissioning Railway or LRT infrastructure and interfaces.
- Proficiencies on MS Office, Acrobat PDF, Visio, and AutoCAD.
- Prior experience collaborating with a diverse, cross‑functional team.
