Senior Metallurgist

Shape impactful projects as a Senior Metallurgist at WSP in the Greater Toronto Area. Utilize your 15+ years of metallurgical engineering expertise to lead essential studies for the ERI Metals and Mining group.

WSP is looking for a skilled Senior Metallurgist to enhance infrastructure projects within our engineering team. Drawing on your extensive background, you will identify client needs, establish design parameters, and conduct detailed analyses. This role emphasizes collaboration, guiding junior metallurgists, and supporting project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify client needs for project proposals

• Establish design parameters and develop diagrams

• Execute mass balances and analyze test results

• Review engineering documentation and specifications

• Guide junior metallurgists and offer project support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent

• At least 15 years of metallurgical engineering experience

• Valid P.ENG license is essential

• Consulting firm experience is a plus

• Strong initiative with excellent communication skills
