Join the Low Temperature Devices Team focusing on Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors (SNSPDs). This critical role involves designing high-performance, photon-number-resolving detectors with exceptional efficiency and scalability. Your deep technical knowledge will be essential in integrating analog components and improving SNSPD functionality across large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize superconducting analog components for SNSPD systems
• Enhance scalable multiplexing for large SNSPD arrays
• Improve SNSPD system performance metrics like detection efficiency
• Translate designs into GDS layouts for fabrication
• Analyze measurement data to refine device and circuit designs
Requirements:
• PhD in Physics or related field with 2+ years of experience
• Experience in circuit design using SPICE models
• Strong understanding of superconducting physics
• Proficiency in Python for design and analysis
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
