Position: Highway Design Engineer with MTO Focus
Deliver innovative highway designs while providing mentorship to emerging engineers. Engage with project teams and ensure alignment with Ontario’s transportation regulations and guidelines.
In this role, you will play a vital part in the Civil Engineering design of linear transportation projects like highways. You will lead design efforts under the direction of Project Managers, offering technical insights and mentoring to junior staff to meet specific milestones. Collaboration with regulatory agencies and internal teams is essential for successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute highway designs compliant with MTO standards

• Mentor junior engineers through project phases

• Coordinate with regulatory and utility partners

• Contribute proactively to the design team

• Adhere to quality assurance and workplace safety practices
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; P. Eng required

• 5-10 years’ relevant experience with MTO projects

• Expert knowledge in highway engineering codes

• Proficient with AutoCAD, Open Roads, and MS Office

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
