Senior Environmental Manager at NGE

Join NGE as a Senior Environmental Manager to oversee environmental management and compliance for the Ontario Line project. Shape QHSE standards while leading audits and monitoring environmental performance.

This role focuses on the implementation of Environmental Quality Standard Procedures and promoting awareness of environmental regulations within the project team. You will manage environmental audits, ensuring timely resolution of Non-Conformance Reports. Your leadership will be crucial for fostering a culture of environmental accountability and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote preventive health and safety measures among teams

• Lead environmental audits to identify and correct issues

• Manage Non-Conformance reporting and resolution processes

• Develop and improve Environmental Quality Management strategies

• Ensure compliance with all environmental standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Relevant degree with a focus on Environmental Sciences or Engineering

• 7-10 years of environmental management experience

• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems

• Skills in negotiation and effective communication

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
