This site-based position requires a Mechanical Engineer to deliver design and oversee mechanical installations. You will collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure systems align with regulatory codes and design intent while fostering the development of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mechanical design services for complex projects
• Act as WSP’s representative during construction execution
• Lead the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC
• Perform regular site assessments to confirm compliance
• Address shop drawings and RFIs for constructability
Requirements:
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering required
• P.Eng. registration with PEO is a must
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in design
• Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards
• Background in construction administration processes
