Water​/Wastewater Environmental Assessment Lead

Shape Canada's water and wastewater future as WSP's Environmental Assessment Leader. This position allows you to direct environmental assessments and promote sustainable infrastructure solutions.
As the Class Environmental Assessment Leader, you will drive assessments from planning to regulatory completion.

Your role will involve mentoring professionals and steering multidisciplinary teams to produce thorough environmental documentation. Engage with Indigenous communities and stakeholders to support informed decision-making while adhering to environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee environmental assessments for infrastructure projects

• Prepare, review, and submit Environmental Compliance Approval applications

• Support teams with high-quality documentation and compliance

• Foster stakeholder and community engagement throughout projects

• Mentor environmental professionals and enhance team capabilities
Requirements:

• Proven experience leading environmental assessments in infrastructure

• In-depth knowledge of assessment legislation and procedures

• Strong project management and consultation skills

• Excellent technical writing and quality control expertise

• Relevant professional designation required or in-progress
