WSP seeks a highly skilled Traction Power Engineer to contribute to transformative rail projects.
Your role combines technical expertise in power studies and compliance standards with a collaborative approach to integrated system design. This position directly supports the advancement of crucial transit infrastructure across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform traction power studies and fault analysis
• Validate calculations, specifications, and engineering designs
• Develop grounding designs in line with industry standards
• Collaborate on projects with signaling and civil teams
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance in technical outputs
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering; master’s degree preferred
• P.Eng. licensure in Ontario or in progress
• Minimum of 5 years in rail and transit engineering
• Proficiency with relevant engineering standards
• Experience in extensive transit project environments
Lead with impact and expertise as part of WSP’s mission to redefine transit systems.
