Structural Detailer and Drafter

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000/year

About the Company:

Our client is a large recognized leader in the event/exhibit marketing and design industry. They have been in operation for more than 25 years and have worked with Fortune 500 clients such as GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Rogers, Boehringer Ingelheim, RBC and many more. They are seeking to add a Structural Detailer to their dynamic team.

• Create accurate 2D/3D drawings and production-ready files (CNC, fabrication, installation)
• Translate concepts into buildable, structurally sound solutions
• Develop layouts, technical drawings, and detailed build specifications
• Produce and refine 3D models and renderings with applied graphics
• Collaborate with Design, Production, and Project Management teams to ensure feasibility
• Support prototyping, fabrication, and site measurements as needed
• Maintain product/spec libraries and contribute to process improvements
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and adherence to deadlines

• Experience in drafting, detailing, and 3D modeling
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up and/or 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and structural detailing
• Ability to produce production-ready technical documentation
• Experience with modular exhibit systems (Octanorm/Aluvision) – asset
• Familiarity with CNC processes, fabrication workflows, and large-format graphics – asset
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment
