Position: Dimensional Engineering Specialist at TI Automotive
TI Automotive seeks a Dimensional Engineering Specialist to maintain high standards of automotive parts precision and quality. Leverage your CAD skills and GD&T knowledge to drive engineering excellence.
As a Dimensional Engineer, you’ll focus on ensuring parts align with required tolerances using thorough analysis and measurement techniques. With a strong background in GD&T and experience in metrology, you will oversee dimensional specification compliance and address any discrepancies. Your collaboration with various teams will foster continuous improvements in quality and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CMMs for part inspection

• Lead statistical analyses for dimensional tolerances

• Develop GD&T compliance strategies and templates

• Troubleshoot and diagnose dimensional issues

• Contribute to supplier quality assessments
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in the field

• Deep understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards

• Proficient in CMM operation and SPC techniques

• Capability to analyze complex dimensional data
