Make an impact at Proto as a Senior ASIC Test Engineer, focusing on advancing bitcoin mining technology. This hands-on position emphasizes bridging design and operational testing in a lab setting.
You will work directly with ASIC designers and system engineers to debug, validate, and iteratively improve custom silicon solutions.
Your role will involve extensive bench testing, developing scripts, and maintaining testing infrastructures necessary for rapid design iteration and performance evaluations. Collaborate efficiently to ensure silicon meets target system specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and validate ASIC on evaluation boards
• Identify and debug issues across multiple system layers
• Develop scripts and tools for extensive testing
• Maintain lab test setups and document workflows
• Assist in early manufacturing validation efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 4 years in silicon validation or testing roles
• Strong lab skills focusing on debugging and instrumentation
• Proficiency in scripting, especially with Python
• Effective communication for teamwork
