Position: Ontario Field Technician for Telecom Infrastructure
Become a Field Technician at Cyient, focusing on telecommunications data collection across Ontario. This role emphasizes outdoor work and travel in diverse weather conditions.

As part of our Telecommunications Business Unit, you will conduct Outside Plant (OSP) data gathering while assessing fiber facility locations and infrastructures. Your analytical skills in interpreting utility plans and your ability to provide detailed site surveys will significantly impact our operations. This position necessitates substantial travel to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively for field measurements and data collection

• Take photos of utility poles, equipment, and locations

• Collaborate with permit teams for approvals

• Perform site assessments in outdoor settings

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year in utility construction environments

• Strong understanding of telecom and utility pole surveys

• Experience with utility work prints and blueprints

• Clean driving record with valid license

• 1+ years of telecom equipment experience preferred
