Senior Environmental Planner - Ontario

Lead impactful Environmental Assessment projects as a Senior Environmental Planner in Ontario with Parsons. You'll manage transportation and infrastructure assignments while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

In this senior role, you will oversee Environmental Assessment projects targeting MTO and transit-related infrastructure. Your expertise will drive project delivery, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and facilitating agency consultations. You'll contribute significantly to Parsons’ growth within Ontario's transportation market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Environmental Assessment projects for MTO and transit assignments

• Prepare environmental documentation like Environmental Impact Statements

• Consult with agencies, municipalities, and Indigenous communities

• Support proposal preparations for major infrastructure pursuits

• Mentor junior and intermediate staff while coordinating teams

Requirements:

• 8+ years of environmental planning experience in Ontario

• Proven MTO project delivery experience is preferred

• Strong understanding of Ontario environmental policies

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills

• Post-secondary degree in a related field
