Drive impactful climate initiatives as a Senior Consultant focusing on Climate Change Resiliency at Mott Mac Donald. This role requires expertise in risk assessment and climate strategy execution.
In this senior advisory position, you will shape climate change resiliency efforts for high-value infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting vulnerability assessments and applying the PIEVC Protocol to ensure compliance with national climate policies. You'll also support long-term climate strategies and facilitate stakeholder dialogues to foster adaptation solutions for infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive climate risk assessments for projects
• Lead technical climate resilience assessments and integration efforts
• Develop actionable climate adaptation strategies
• Prepare technical reports communicating climate principles
• Engage stakeholders through workshops and consultations
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering, environmental sciences or related field
• Minimum 10 years of consulting experience
• 7+ years focused in climate change resiliency advisory
• Knowledge of Canadian infrastructure planning regulations
• Strong skills in client relations and workshop facilitation
