Position: Mechanical Cost Consultant at Altus Group
Join Altus Group as a Mechanical Cost Consultant, focusing on detailed cost estimates and project analysis. Leverage your expertise in construction management to support impactful projects.
As a key member of our team, you will utilize your skills in pricing, quantity calculation, and project measurement. Your experience in estimating and applicable software is essential to prepare accurate cost reports and guide effective decision-making. You'll also provide change order reviews and conduct market research, ensuring precise estimations and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate quantities from design documentation for estimates

• Prepare cost estimates based on design briefs and drawings

• Review pricing for accurate change order estimations

• Ensure completion of project descriptions and assumptions

• Conduct research for project and cost data
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 2-3 years of estimating or cost consulting experience

• Working towards PQS, MRICS or similar designation

• Strong knowledge of CIQS measurement standards

• Proficient in CostX or similar estimating software
