In this sophisticated role, you will collaborate with a team of theoretical and practical experts to innovate pulsed optical amplifiers essential for accelerating quantum advancements. Your main responsibility will involve significant hands-on experience in the design and development of high-repetition-rate systems, alongside comprehensive experimentation and optimization of optical components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and refine pulsed optical amplifier system designs
• Develop comprehensive thermal management and mechanical strategies
• Evaluate amplifiers for gain, noise figure, and temporal profiles
• Assemble and verify optical systems in laboratory conditions
• Document all procedures, specifications, and outcomes thoroughly
Requirements:
• Ph.D. degree in Optical Engineering or a similar field
• Minimum 3–5 years of applicable design and testing experience
• Background in managing pulsed optical systems
• Proficient in using optical lab instruments
• Strong abilities in technical writing and problem-solving
