Drive fire safety innovations as a Lead Fire Protection Engineer. Oversee complex designs and contribute to collaborative projects across the country in a hybrid model.
In this leadership role, you will manage the planning and execution of fire protection systems suitable for various sectors. Responsibilities include conducting advanced calculations, analyzing compliance with codes, and mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage design and development of fire protection systems
• Perform detailed hydraulic calculations and safety analyses
• Review and produce engineering documentation and specifications
• Lead project coordination efforts across disciplines
• Conduct field inspections to ensure quality compliance
Requirements:
• 12-15 years of relevant engineering experience
• Licensed Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and Canadian building codes
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
