Signaling Engineer in Rail and Transit

In the role of Intermediate Signaling Engineer, you will support WSP’s Rail & Transit team in designing and implementing sophisticated signaling systems. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and project managers, you will ensure the integrity and safety of rail systems.
Your role includes mentoring junior engineers, enhancing your leadership skills within a supportive consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and analysis of signaling systems
• Execute signaling calculations and design documentation
• Verify technical designs for compliance and quality
• Develop signaling schemes aligned with best practices
• Communicate engineering concepts with clear client interactions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years in Rail Systems Engineering
• P.Eng. in Ontario or eligible for registration
• Experience with conventional signaling systems
• Strong understanding of rail industry codes and standards
