Senior Water Resource Manager

Position: Senior Water Resource Manager Metrolinx
Lead water resource initiatives at Metrolinx as a Senior Manager in Toronto. This strategic role focuses on engineering services vital for infrastructure maintenance and safety in rail corridors.

In this leadership position, you will oversee program development in the ESD Water Resource Management Office. You will ensure compliance with water management activities, guide projects, and facilitate communication with stakeholders. A strong blend of engineering knowledge and project management skills is essential for enhancing asset performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee departmental program development and execution

• Manage compliance with water resource management initiatives

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders inside and outside the organization

• Approve consultant designs and offer project guidance

• Evaluate tenders and recommend contractor selections

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field

• Experience in railway engineering management roles

• Strong negotiation and collaboration competencies

• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license

• Knowledge of regulations and safety legislation
