This role in the Power Systems Advisory group requires a deep understanding of electric power systems and hands-on experience with PSCAD. You will conduct various Electro-magnetic Transient Studies while ensuring project quality and budget objectives are met. Your expertise will also position you as a Subject Matter Expert in EMT and transmission grid reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Electro-magnetic Transient Studies and analyses
• Develop and tune PSCAD models for benchmarking
• Produce quality technical reports for stakeholders
• Ensure timely project completion while maintaining standards
• Cultivate new customer relationships and respond to RFPs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in utility or consulting
• Proficiency with power-system tools like PSCAD
• Knowledge of ISO/RTO grid interconnection practices
• Strong communication and analytical skills
