Environmental Permitting Technical Officer

In this role, you will support complex permitting efforts, working with a collaborative team to achieve regulatory milestones. The position demands 5-8 years of relevant experience and the ability to navigate Canadian regulatory environments effectively. Your contributions will drive projects that prioritize sustainability and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate environmental assessment regulatory studies
• Lead the delivery of technical work ensuring compliance
• Collaborate with teams to develop regulatory documentation
• Review technical reports for quality and accuracy
• Monitor contractor performance for compliance
Requirements:
• 5-8 years in environmental or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with relevant Canadian legislation
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Fisheries Act is advantageous
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
