About The Role

The Vice President, Corporate Mines Technical Services provides strategic leadership and governance for the company’s mine technical services functions, ensuring the consistent development and delivery of key technical outputs across operations and projects. This includes Life of Mine planning, Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves (MRMR) disclosure, reconciliation processes, and technical inputs that support corporate planning and reporting. The role ensures that technical work across the organization is aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the company’s long‑term strategic objectives.

Working closely with operations, exploration, metallurgy, and executive leadership, this role guides the integration of technical data and planning processes to support informed decision‑making and long‑term value creation. The Vice President plays a critical role in strengthening systems, governance, and collaboration across technical teams while identifying opportunities to optimize mining assets and support the company’s growth strategy.

What We’re Looking For Education
  • Post‑secondary degree in Geology or an appropriate field of Engineering.
  • Professional registration with a recognized engineering or geoscience association.
  • Meets requirements to act as a Qualified Person for Reserves.
Experience
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in mining operations, technical services, or consulting environments.
  • Experience in both underground and open pit mining operations.
  • Extensive experience in Life of Mine planning, mine planning governance, and mineral resource and reserve reporting.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and guiding cross‑functional technical work streams.
  • Demonstrated experience developing governance systems, standards, and processes for technical planning.
  • Experience supporting corporate strategic planning and technical decision‑making.
  • Experience contributing to technical due diligence for potential acquisitions or growth.
