Lead innovative water solutions at GFT as a Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer. This hybrid role in Toronto, Mississauga, or Ottawa focuses on sustainable infrastructure projects.
As a key player in GFT's water team, you will design municipal servicing projects, including sewage pumping stations and treatment systems. Collaborate with various stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance. You’ll also manage project scope, budget, and timelines while mentoring junior staff to foster a collaborative environment within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design municipal servicing projects and related engineering documentation
• Coordinate approvals with municipal and utility stakeholders
• Liaise with clients and municipalities for project facilitation
• Assist in project scope, budget, staffing, and scheduling
• Conduct quality assurance and mentoring for junior design team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• P.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.
• Minimum 4 years in water/wastewater projects
• Client-focused approach to problem-solving
• Experience with Ontario's regulatory processes an asset
