Position: Construction Engineer for Bridge Projects
HDR is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer for its prestigious Ontario Line Project in Toronto. Manage the construction of segmental bridges, ensuring compliance and quality throughout.

As part of HDR's Transportation – Construction Services team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of two segmental bridges for the Don Valley Crossing. Your focus will be on liaising with contractors, reviewing shop drawings, and leading quality assurance reviews. You’ll mentor junior team members while adhering to health and safety regulations during project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review compliance with contract documents and specifications

• Coordinate with engineers and construction professionals

• Attend and lead internal and external project meetings

• Mentor junior staff and oversee their development

• Prepare comprehensive quality documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience

• Valid Professional Engineer license for the location

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software

• G Driver’s License required for site visits
