Join Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. as a Field Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, where you will lead critical design and execution for complex excavation projects. Focus on Support-of-Excavation and Sequential Excavation Method in urban environments.
In this vital role, you will bridge the gap between engineering design and field operations with 5-8 years of experience in heavy civil or underground construction. Your responsibilities include planning excavation rounds, coordinating systems, overseeing activities, and ensuring safety compliance. You'll engage with design teams to solve clashes and maintain production tracking while enforcing a high standard of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and sequence excavation rounds effectively
• Coordinate complex SOE systems for projects
• Monitor geotechnical instruments during activities
• Conduct daily reports and ground classifications
• Support dewatering and groundwater management plans
Requirements:
•
B.Eng./B.Sc. in Engineering or related discipline
• 5-8 years experience in underground construction
• P.Eng. preferred; EIT considered with strong record
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel
• Proficient in AutoCAD and project planning tools
