Intermediate Civil Engineer

Egis is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, focusing on dry and wet utilities for major infrastructure projects. Deliver impactful designs for transportation and municipal works while advancing your career.

This full-time, permanent role supports various public sector initiatives including airport and light rail transit projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering design, specifically in utilities, with experience managing project scope and budgets. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and ensure projects move smoothly from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer utilities for major projects from inception to completion

• Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software for design tasks

• Conduct clash detection and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)

• Prepare technical designs, specifications, and reports

• Manage project budgets and timelines for on-time delivery

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering; P.Eng. preferred

• Minimum 6 years of public sector engineering design experience

• Knowledge of transportation infrastructure design

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle needed
