Position: Lead Surveyor for Major Infrastructure Projects
VINCI Construction Grands Projets is seeking a Chief Surveyor to lead vital civil engineering initiatives in Toronto. This role entails managing the surveying team for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment.

As the Chief Surveyor, you will ensure precision in monitoring and data collection crucial for the project's success. You’ll oversee the construction of a deep-water intake tunnel, ensuring all activities meet stringent safety and compliance standards. The position also offers opportunities to mentor junior staff and improve team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage LU/LO, tunnel, and surface monitoring teams

• Guarantee accurate data collection for daily reviews

• Program tunnel guidance software effectively

• Facilitate communication with the JV Engineering team

• Organize additional survey resources as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 10 years' experience in construction surveying

• Familiarity with geotechnical monitoring systems

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience in nuclear-regulated environments is a plus
