Position: Field-Based Geologist at Axis Geoscience
Join Axis Geoscience Ltd. as a Field-Based Geologist focused on exploration support in Canada’s rugged terrains. Contribute to geological mapping, drilling, and data management within safe and responsible frameworks.

This role involves planning and executing field programs for hard-rock exploration projects. You will leverage your strong field judgment and geological skills to coordinate with contractors, supervise drill operations, and maintain accurate geological records. Data-driven exploration will be your primary focus, ensuring the advancement of exploration targets in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement geological field programs

• Conduct mapping, prospecting, and sampling

• Supervise drill campaigns and manage core records

• Validate geological and geotechnical data efficiently

• Create reports and exploration models for analysis

Requirements:

• Proven skills in geological mapping and sampling

• Experience with drill supervision and data handling

• Familiarity with gold/copper and uranium exploration systems

• Proficient in GIS software like QGIS or ArcGIS

• Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices
