Aecon seeks a Project Director to oversee dynamic urban transit projects within its Urban Transportation Solutions group. With over 20 years of progressive project leadership, this role requires expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure programs, particularly transit and rail initiatives exceeding $1 billion. Your strategic oversight will ensure alignment with contractual obligations and commercial success while leading multidisciplinary teams and reinforcing robust governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct project delivery from initiation to closeout

• Collaborate with owners and partners for transparent decision-making

• Establish governance structures for team alignment

• Monitor performance metrics across safety, cost, and quality

• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance
Requirements:

• 20+ years in infrastructure project leadership

• 5+ years as Project Director on major transit programs

• Experience with collaborative delivery models

• Strong stakeholder engagement and contractual skills

• P.Eng, PMP, or related qualification preferred
