Take the lead as a Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer at Kraft Heinz in Toronto (Hybrid). Drive the development of our internal engineering platform, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining engineering standards and improving the developer experience. You'll oversee the Center for Enablement team and ensure the adoption of best practices across the organization, enhancing the engineering quality and delivery speed.
Your role will involve deep collaboration with product teams, shaping strategic engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and maintain engineering guardrails and standards
• Lead the evolution of the Internal Developer Portal
• Enhance developer onboarding processes and documentation
• Analyze engineering metrics to spot improvement areas
• Mentor engineering teams on platform best practices
Requirements:
• 7+ years in software or platform engineering
• Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, API architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience with developer portals preferred
