Aerospace Senior Engineer

Join an established team as a Software and Hardware Senior Engineer in Toronto or Montreal. Bring your aerospace expertise and 15 years of engineering experience to assess and validate airborne designs.
This role requires a proven track record in aeronautics, with at least 10 years in the field and experience in FPGA, ASIC, or embedded software development. You will evaluate compliance of supplier designs to meet technical and regulatory standards, ensuring safety and performance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review supplier’s airborne software and electronic hardware designs

• Assess technical and process compliance at supplier facilities

• Perform safety of flight reviews for aerospace applications

• Lead resolution of technical deficiencies with stakeholders

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to domain roadmaps
Requirements:

• University degree in Electronics, Software, or Aerospace Engineering

• Minimum 15 years in engineering, with 10 in aeronautics

• At least 5 years in FPGA or ASIC development

• Strong knowledge of compliance standards (RTCA, EASA)

• Proficient in multiple programming languages and hardware description languages
