Associate Director, Asset Information Structure

As the Associate Director, you will lead the design and operationalization of the asset‑related information model across the PMIS environment and downstream business use, including information structure, field definitions, validation, control logic, readiness, receiving, and downstream operational use.
Responsibilities- Lead AIR (Asset Information Requirements) operationalization, including detailed field-level definition and standardization
- Design cross‑system information structures, clarifying system roles and data ownership across platforms (e.g., EAM, CMMS, project systems)
- Align asset hierarchy structures with business use cases, asset onboarding, and lifecycle management needs
- Develop readiness and receiving frameworks, including validation rules, completeness checks, and acceptance criteria
- Define downstream business‑use logic to ensure asset information supports operations, maintenance, planning, and analytics
- Lead Workstream 1 pilot reviews, incorporating feedback and refining frameworks for broader rollout
- Integrate enterprise stakeholder input into the design and evolution of information standards and processes
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and asset management teams to ensure practical adoption and governance alignment
- 10+ years of experience in asset management, asset information management, EAM, asset handover, or related consulting delivery
- Degree in engineering, information management, asset management, or a related discipline from a recognized university
- Strong knowledge of asset information requirements (AIR), asset hierarchies, onboarding processes, and lifecycle data needs
- Experience translating information standards into operational processes, controls, and system workflows
- Background in infrastructure or asset‑intensive environments (e.g., transport, utilities, mining, aviation)
- Proven ability to convert technical requirements into practical, implementable operating models
