Join Nord Space as a CFD Engineer focused on aerodynamics for SHARP hypersonic platforms. Lead aerodynamic analysis and wind tunnel testing to shape the future of aerospace design.
In this critical engineering role, you will oversee aerodynamic and thermodynamic evaluations for Nord Space's launch programs. The CFD Engineer is responsible for creating detailed aerodynamic databases and managing testing campaigns that correlate simulation data with real-world results. Collaborate with technical teams and ensure data-driven design decisions for successful missions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create aerodynamic databases for ascent and re-entry phases
• Predict and analyze thermal environments for hypersonic vehicles
• Drive wind tunnel test execution and data validation
• Support design reviews with CFD findings
• Develop automation processes for efficient analysis
Requirements:
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in relevant engineering
• Minimum 3 years of CFD experience in the aerospace sector
• Familiarity with major CFD tools and methodologies
• Experience in wind tunnel test preparation and correlation
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar
