Arup seeks a Rail Systems Engineering Director to lead its essential rail projects in Toronto. You’ll manage systems engineering functions while advancing the design process across multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be critical in aligning client goals with superior design execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle systems engineering for new and existing rail systems
• Own the design process as the Prime Consultant
• Ensure quality management systems for compliance
• Lead and facilitate client discussions and project teamwork
• Resolve design decisions effectively and promptly
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with relevant experience
• 15 years in rail transit design
• 5-10 years in project management of rail systems
• Familiarity with EMC and software management principles
• Knowledge of railway engineering standards
