Position: Commissioning Engineer for MEP Systems
Lead commissioning efforts for mechanical and electrical systems with Ontario Transit Group in Toronto. Oversee testing procedures, coordination, and compliance to ensure successful project outcomes.

As a Commissioning Engineer at Ontario Transit Group, you'll be responsible for setting up and verifying the installation of MEP systems. This role requires 7–10 years of experience in commissioning on large-scale projects, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Collaborate with subcontractors while ensuring that all activities comply with specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute commissioning activities for all MEP systems

• Witness factory and site acceptance tests for compliance

• Lead subcontractor performance and activity coordination

• Review and enhance commissioning procedures and documentation

• Collaborate with project management and client representatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 7–10 years of MEP commissioning experience required

• Proven experience managing subcontractors effectively

• Strong leadership and communication skills needed

• Familiarity with commissioning codes and best practices
