This 8-month position provides hands-on experience in estimating under the mentorship of industry professionals. You will work on significant projects, refining your skills in proposal preparation, quantity takeoff, and software application. Participate in various stages of project execution, gaining invaluable knowledge in the bidding and design build processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain insights from senior estimators in project bidding

• Prepare and analyze proposals for civil projects

• Conduct quantity takeoff and manage estimate software updates

• Solicit bids and compare subcontractor/vendor quotes

• Support design teams and assist with project handovers

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management program

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Solid analytical and mathematical skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
