Senior Road Designer

Position: Senior Road Designer at Arcadis
Elevate urban infrastructure projects as a Senior Road Designer with Arcadis in Toronto. Engage in groundbreaking designs that enhance mobility and public spaces.

This role focuses on detailed design for municipal and linear infrastructure, requiring 5+ years of experience in civil engineering or transportation planning. You will prepare comprehensive engineering drawings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and seamless project delivery. Your guidance will also support junior designers in developing their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare preliminary and detailed designs for municipal infrastructure

• Create engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design challenges

• Assist junior designers with concepts and technical questions

• Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Over 5 years of experience in road design and engineering

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software

• Experience managing small projects is preferred

• Strong collaborative attitude and independence in work
