Senior Engineer in Quantum Photonics Design

As part of the photonic integration team, you'll leverage your PhD alongside two years of hands-on experience. You'll focus on modeling PICs with an emphasis on minimizing insertion loss while achieving low noise. Collaborate directly with experts from various fields to create robust specifications necessary for fault-tolerant quantum systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Model and design high-performance quantum integrated circuits
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Define on-chip component requirements for optimized performance
• Validate control loops for resonators and circuits
• Ensure compliance through design rule checks and layout verification
Requirements:
• PhD in relevant fields with 2+ years of experience
• Mastery in PICs modeling using advanced methods
• Knowledge of thermo-optic and nonlinear optical effects
• Experience in layout design and manufacturing compliance
• Familiarity with version control practices
