This permanent position seeks various levels of system safety professionals to work on major railway and transit projects in Toronto. As a System Safety Specialist, you will develop, maintain, and oversee key safety management systems, while preparing vital safety plans and compliance documentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the System Safety Management System for projects

• Prepare Safety Plans and Safety Cases according to EN50126 and related standards

• Lead risk analysis and safety assessment processes

• Set safety requirements for all railway systems involved

• Ensure documentation adheres to Safety Integrity Levels standards

Requirements:

• P.Eng registration or certification eligibility

• At least 8 years in System Safety Management

• Familiarity with EN50126, EN50128, EN50129 standards

• Proven experience in safety documentation creation

• Ability to promote safety awareness across teams
