Intermediate/Senior Structural Engineer

Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is hiring an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer in Toronto, Ontario.
Salary: $75,000 – $105,000 (higher for senior applicants with more experience).
Primary Responsibilities- Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
- Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer‑reviewing the work of fellow team members
- Conduct site inspections and field reviews
- Manage communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships
- Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met
- Work alongside regional Team Leads, all of whom are experienced and licensed professionals
- Supervise and support various team members including junior engineers, inspectors, and designers
- Report to a company Director that acts as a support to yourself and your fellow Team Leads
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects)
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
- Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent time‑management, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid ‘G’ driver’s licence and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites
- Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario (or ability to apply within 1 year of start date)
