SYSTRA Canada is seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer for an LRT Project based in Hamilton, ON. This hybrid position emphasizes leadership and design in infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee the design and management of water, storm, and sanitary infrastructure. With a P.Eng License and 4-8+ years of relevant experience, you will ensure effective project delivery while mentoring junior engineers. Your strong communication abilities will facilitate collaboration with municipal stakeholders and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage design and relocation of water mains and services
• Prepare technical specifications and approval documentation
• Lead projects from conception to construction
• Support multidisciplinary teams and manage conflicts
• Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
• P. Eng License mandatory
• 4-8+ years experience required
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools
• Familiarity with sewer modeling tools like EPANET
