Hydrogeology Specialist in Environmental Engineering

SYSTRA Canada seeks a Hydrogeology Specialist to drive environmental design for key transit projects. Focus on groundwater quality and compliance while collaborating with diverse teams.

As a Hydrogeology Specialist at SYSTRA Canada, you'll play a critical role in large Rail & Transit projects, ensuring environmental integrity and adherence to regulatory commitments. Working under the Environmental Head, your responsibilities will include overseeing groundwater assessments and leading efforts to identify and resolve environmental risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review existing environmental investigations and reports

• Lead Due Diligence work for hydrogeological assessments

• Coordinate environmental strategies across all project disciplines

• Manage compliance with EA commitments and necessary permits

• Develop groundwater management plans for projects

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of pertinent experience

• Degree specializing in Hydrogeology or environmental engineering

• Must hold P. Geo or P.Eng certification

• Familiarity with Ontario regulations on contaminated lands

• Proven experience in groundwater assessments and monitoring
