Shape the future of defense as an Embedded Systems Engineer with Dominion Dynamics in Toronto. Your work will focus on ensuring robust communication for innovative systems under extreme conditions.
In this full-time position, you'll leverage your skills to develop reliable firmware and integrate advanced robotic systems for mission-critical applications. You'll play a significant role in supporting field operations through effective diagnostics and communications, enabling Canada’s defense capabilities in challenging environments. Collaborate closely with industry experts in autonomous systems and aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build integration layers between hardware and communication systems
• Manage messaging using DDS and JAUS protocols
• Develop plug-ins for ATAK interface solutions
• Integrate sensing platforms using ROS2 frameworks
• Design telemetry and control interfaces for operators
Requirements:
• 2–5 years in systems and firmware engineering
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS fundamentals
• Knowledge of CAN and I²C protocols
• Exposure to robotics platforms, like ROS2
