Entry-Level Design Engineer

Cortex Design seeks an entry-level Design Engineer to transform innovative concepts into prototypes and manufacturable designs. This hybrid role in Toronto offers a dynamic environment for growth and collaboration.

As a Design Engineer, you will aid in developing medical and wellness products from ideation to production. With a focus on CAD in Solid Works, you'll contribute to prototyping, design verification, and ensuring manufacturability. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with up to three years of relevant experience with a strong track record in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create functioning mechanical concepts from industrial design intent

• Build detailed CAD models in Solid Works

• Contribute to prototyping and engineering detailing

• Produce manufacturing-ready design outputs

• Conduct research to inform engineering decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

• Strong internship experience in product development

• Up to three years of engineering experience

• Proficiency in Solid Works CAD

• Capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders
