Take on a pivotal role in protection performance as a Senior Protection Technician at Hydro One in Toronto. Your work will involve monitoring, reporting, and enhancing the bulk electricity system’s efficiency.
With a strong foundation in electrical and electronic technology, you will analyze outage data and manage supervision of clerical activities. This position focuses on accurate reporting and operational improvements within the power system while ensuring compliance with all performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct performance analyses of protective schemes
• Compile and present reports on bulk power system outages
• Oversee clerical support and task management
• Maintain the operational integrity of the data system
• Facilitate effective communication regarding system performance
Requirements:
• Technical diploma from Ontario in a relevant field
• Experience with relays, systems, and outage data
• Strong analytical and report preparation skills
• Supervisory experience is beneficial
• Good command of English for reporting
