This position seeks a skilled engineer to enhance Lightmatter's laser development team. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to design high-volume laser products
• Drive new laser concepts with product and architecture teams
• Transform product requirements into detailed engineering plans
• Solve design and manufacturing challenges with innovative solutions
• Engage in development of control algorithms and PICs
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Photonics or related field with 3 years experience
• 8 years in photonic devices and semiconductor physics
• Strong silicon photonics understanding
• Experience in cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills for technical concepts
