Toronto System Safety Assurance Consultant

In your role, you’ll be integral in refining the System Safety Management System to ensure effective safety standards across significant transit projects in Canada. Your responsibilities will also include preparing Safety Plans, Reports, and Compliance Cases to lead risk analyses crucial for project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the System Safety Management System
• Create Safety Plans, Reports, and Compliance Cases
• Lead hazard identification and risk analysis initiatives
• Define safety requirements for civil and electrical systems
• Supervise Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) implementation
Requirements:
• P.Eng designation or eligibility for certification
• At least 8 years of relevant System Safety Management experience
• Knowledge of EN50126, EN50128, and EN50129 standards
• Experience with safety documentation and ALARP strategies
• Proven ability to improve team safety awareness
