Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Join Jacobs as a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, located in Toronto, Ontario. Provide comprehensive automation strategies for municipal water systems while working in a hybrid setup.

In this senior engineering role, you'll focus on the design and commissioning of advanced instrumentation and control systems. Collaborating with project teams and clients, you will develop critical documentation, manage project scope, and ensure high-quality delivery through effective leadership and mentorship of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare P&IDs, PAC design, and SCADA architecture

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities and meetings

• Mentor junior staff in technical and design excellence

• Oversee construction activities and site testing

• Assist in planning workload for the IC design team

Requirements:

• Eligible for P.Eng. registration in Ontario

• Significant experience in municipal water projects

• Expertise in SCADA system programming and integration

• Knowledge of Canadian electrical design standards

• Strong analytical and communication abilities
