Arup Canada is hiring a Rail Systems Design Lead based in Toronto to spearhead rail engineering and integration for impactful infrastructure projects.
This role requires a professional with over 10 years in rail systems engineering and expertise in leading design teams. You will be taking charge of systems integration and performance modeling while working with cross-disciplinary teams.
Your role will also include maintaining client relationships and presenting compelling design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure project team skill alignment for requirements
• Support the definition and control of the System Architecture
• Oversee systems assurance and requirements management
• Engage in digital rail and virtual rail program development
• Share best practices to enhance team competencies
Requirements:
• Over 10 years of rail systems engineering experience
• 5+ years leading design responsibilities
• Proficiency in Communications Based Train Control (CBTC)
• Knowledge of railway standards and certification processes
• Strong ability to communicate across project levels
